About me:
My name is Teresa Schmidt and I am a senior at Ronald Reagan High School. I am obsessed with drawing the human figure and its parts, specifically eyes. I hope to be able to bring an emotional aspect into my art as I get better. The mediums I use are paints, drawing pencils, and sometimes digital platforms. I am open to trying many different forms of art, including charcoal, photography, clay, and pastels, but I excel in painting and drawing. Besides art I also enjoy writing to express emotion. My goal is to portray my feelings and opinions in a unique way that leaves viewers with questions. I especially enjoy drawing the female body, because I feel like it makes people uncomfortable to see art portraying a nude women, and I want to normalize female anatomy. I like to start my art with an unknown end destination and see where it takes me.
